Ever since my business reached a year, I’ve felt a huge shift in my relationship with it. Most notably, it’s become more real… in the sense that, this thing has actually succeeded. I’m making a full-time income, I recently took on a mortgage, and the pressure and responsibility is really setting in.
Another way to put this is that I started to become overcome by fear.

We were in the middle of a great chat about storytelling online to prospective clients and customers when she picked up her camera and took a few shots. She explained to me that when someone is talking about something they're truly passionate about, it can be caught in an image and sincerely shine through. Sounds about right.
In light of The Clever Quill’s 1 year anniversary of business (it's today!), I’ve decided to strip all façades and get totally naked with you guys (figuratively speaking, of course).
