This brilliant image was taken by Ros Rheaume of Harbour City Imagery. We were in the middle of a great chat about storytelling online to prospective clients and customers when she picked up her camera and took a few shots. She explained to me that when someone is talking about something they're truly passionate about, it can be caught in an image and sincerely shine through. Sounds about right.
Social media is this exciting beast that’s evolving every day. Social in 2015 doesn’t look like social in 2016. And 2017 will take on its own identity, which we’ll only know once it begins to materialize. Marketers can hypothesize to a point—the rest is up to the behaviours and activity of online users.
I recently posted a selfie on The Clever Quill’s professional Instagram account.
Yes, a full-blown selfie. But doesn't that go against what we were told is professional? What possessed me to do such a thing? Advice from baddass ladybosses who know what they’re talking about, of course.
